Beautiful settings, tricky logistics

Malibu events tend to happen in beautiful places that were not built for crowds: a beach house on a narrow lane off PCH, an estate up a canyon road, a vineyard or ranch in the hills, a bluff-top lawn on Point Dume. Parking is scarce, the beach in front of a house is often public, and Pacific Coast Highway is the only way most guests can get there.
