Solar Security Camera Towers & Mobile Surveillance in Los Angeles

LDG deploys solar-powered camera towers and marked AI surveillance vehicles to construction sites, lots, events and fire rebuild lots across LA County. Our team remotely views the cameras.

Solar camera towers

Camera towers, remotely viewed by LDG

Plenty of sites need cameras for weeks or months, not a permanent install: a construction project, a rebuild lot, a parking lot with a sudden problem, an event’s staging area. LDG’s answer is a solar-powered security camera tower that we bring to the site and our team remotely views.

  • Solar-powered. Works on sites that do not have power yet.
  • Trailer-mounted. Delivered to your site and moved when the job changes.
  • Telescopic mast. Raises the cameras above fencing, equipment and parked cars.
  • PTZ cameras. Pan, tilt and zoom toward whatever needs a closer look.
  • Remotely viewed by LDG. A person on our team watches, not just a recorder.

Towers are deployed and supported by the same company that provides LDG’s guards, patrols and off-duty officers, so adding people to a site is one call.

The mobile option: a marked camera vehicle

For sites that need cameras fast, or where a trailer will not fit, LDG sends an AI surveillance vehicle: a marked LDG security vehicle with a 4K AI camera on each corner for 360° coverage. Anyone approaching sees a security vehicle and cameras in plain view.

Our team remotely views the live feed, on-camera AI flags people and vehicles, and LDG can sound the siren, flash the warning lights and talk to anyone on site through the speaker. Full specs are on the AI Vehicle Surveillance Program page.

Two ways to watch a site. One team watching.

Tower or vehicle?

Which one fits your site

Both are remotely viewed by LDG. The difference is how they get on site and what they do there. We will recommend one, the other or both after looking at your property.

Where mobile surveillance earns its keep

Any site that is empty for hours at a time, has no permanent cameras, or needs more coverage for a while.

How remote viewing works

  1. We plan the placement. LDG reviews your site with you and picks the unit and the spot: where the cameras see the most and the unit is seen first, at gates, drive aisles, material yards and entrances.
  2. The unit goes on site. A solar camera tower with its mast raised, an AI surveillance vehicle, or both.
  3. LDG views the cameras. Our team remotely views the feed. Tower PTZ cameras can pan and zoom in; vehicle cameras flag people and vehicles with on-camera AI.
  4. We act on your plan. Warn people off, contact you, send a patrol officer if your plan includes one, and call local authorities when needed. The vehicle adds a 105 dB siren, warning lights and two-way talk.

FAQ

Camera towers & mobile surveillance: common questions

What is a security camera tower?

A security camera tower is a portable camera unit brought to a site that has no permanent camera system, or needs more coverage than it has. LDG’s towers are solar-powered and trailer-mounted, with a telescopic mast that raises PTZ cameras above the site, and our team remotely views the cameras.

Can I rent a camera tower from LDG?

Yes. LDG deploys its solar camera towers as a service across Los Angeles County: we plan the placement, deliver the tower and our team remotely views the cameras. Call or text (442) 288-6642 with your address and dates for availability and a quote.

What is the difference between a camera tower and LDG’s surveillance vehicle?

A tower is a trailer with a telescopic mast and PTZ cameras, suited to sites with room for a trailer and a longer schedule. The surveillance vehicle is a marked LDG security vehicle with four AI cameras for 360° coverage, plus a siren, warning lights and two-way talk; it parks wherever a car fits and moves quickly. LDG recommends one, the other or both after looking at your site.

Do the camera towers need power from my site?

No. LDG’s camera towers are solar-powered, which makes them a fit for job sites and rebuild lots that do not have power yet.

Who watches the cameras?

LDG’s team remotely views the cameras on both the towers and the vehicles, so a person sees what the cameras see and decides what happens next.

What happens when someone is on site after hours?

LDG follows the plan we set with you: contacting you, warning people off, sending a patrol officer if your plan includes one, and calling local authorities when needed. The surveillance vehicle can also sound a 105 dB siren, flash warning lights and let LDG talk through the camera speaker.

Can I add guards or officers to a tower or vehicle?

Yes. Many clients pair mobile surveillance with LDG mobile patrol, unarmed or armed security guards, or off-duty police officers for events and higher-risk periods.

Where do you deploy camera towers?

Anywhere in Los Angeles County, including Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Calabasas, Malibu, Encino, Pasadena and the other cities LDG serves.
