Common Santa Monica placements
- Apartment and mixed-use construction. Covering gates, material yards and equipment during nights and weekends.
- Surface lots and open garages. Deterring car break-ins, catalytic converter theft and people camping in the lot.
- Vacant buildings and storefronts. Watching doors and alleys between tenants or during a remodel.
- Production base camps. Trucks, trailers and equipment parked overnight between shoot days.
Choosing between a tower and a vehicle
Santa Monica sites come in every shape. A mixed-use project with a fenced yard is a natural fit for a solar tower: the mast lifts the PTZ cameras above the fencing and the trailer stays put for months. A narrow lot, a shared alley or a production’s overnight base camp often suits the vehicle, which parks like a car and adds a siren, warning lights and two-way talk.
If you need people as well, LDG can add unarmed guards, off-duty officers for busy events, or patrol visits. Full details are on our camera towers & mobile surveillance page and local coverage is on the Santa Monica page.
