Where Beverly Hills clients book off-duty officers
- Private events and galas. Entrances and arrivals at hotels along Wilshire Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard, and parties at homes north of Sunset.
- Luxury retail. Boutiques in the Golden Triangle during holiday weeks, sales and private shopping appointments.
- Premieres, launches and screenings. Door and line coverage for brand and entertainment events.
- Private residences. Large gatherings at homes in the Flats and Trousdale Estates, where guest parking and street activity need watching.
Off-duty officers or security guards?
For most Beverly Hills events, the answer is both. Off-duty officers are a good fit at the front door and the arrival area, where guests, drivers and passersby meet. Guards are a better fit for guest-list checks, coat rooms, back-of-house doors and the long overnight hours after the party ends. We will suggest a mix based on your guest count, the venue and how public the event is.
What LDG handles
You tell us the date, hours, address, crowd size and what you need covered. We source and vet the officers, write the post orders, brief everyone before the shift and stay your single contact through the night. After the event you get one invoice for every officer and every hour.
Off-duty officers often work alongside other LDG staff: unarmed guards on guest lists and back doors, armed officers where the risk is higher, and executive protection for principals. Learn more on our off-duty police officers page and the Beverly Hills page.
