Big sites, long nights
A tract under construction or a business park can be spread over a large area, and it is often quiet and dark after crews leave. An off-duty officer can cover the hours when problems are most likely, with patrol checks through the rest of the night. Where an officer is not needed every hour, camera towers or the AI Vehicle Surveillance Program can watch the site, remotely viewed by LDG.
How booking works
Off-duty police officers are sworn officers who take private assignments on their own time, working under your post orders and their own department’s off-duty rules.
