Where Malibu clients book off-duty officers
- Weddings and private events. Entrances, guest parking and the road outside, at estates and venues from Point Dume to the Colony.
- Productions on location. Set perimeters, base camps and equipment along the coast and in the canyons.
- Summer weekends. Restaurants, shops and centers near Cross Creek and along PCH when crowds and parking pressure peak.
- Large gatherings at homes. Parties where guest traffic and uninvited visitors are a concern.
Before and after the event
The risky hours at a Malibu event are often the ones nobody plans: the day before, when rentals and catering equipment are delivered, and the night after, when the tent is still up and the house is quiet. We can cover those hours with guards or a camera vehicle so the property is watched from setup to the last truck out, not just while guests are there.
Planning around Malibu’s roads
Malibu events have their own logistics: officers coming from across the county, limited parking, long driveways and PCH traffic. LDG plans arrival times, staging and posts with that in mind, briefs every officer before the event and stays your single contact through the night. You receive one invoice for every officer and every hour.
Off-duty officers often work with LDG security guards on guest lists and parking, armed officers at high-profile events, and our mobile camera vehicle watching an estate or rebuild lot before and after. See more on our off-duty officers page and the Malibu & Pacific Palisades page.
